Josefina is an environmental specialist from Argentina interested in Urban Sustainability Studies. As a Climate Change Advisor to the Buenos Aires City Government, she has coordinated the GHG Emission Inventory, participated in developing the city’s Climate Change Action Plan, and served as the city’s Technical Liaison in different international networks. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science from the University of Buenos Aires, where she taught and conducted research on waste management. Shortly, as a SPURS Fellow at MIT she plans to focus on metropolitan areas’ influence on local GHG Emissions by studying commuting habits.
