Sarah is currently a founding member of CSP, LLC., a consulting service focusing on conservation, climate change, and the intersection these two issues have on our country's natural resources. She gained invaluable insight into these issues as the Programs Director for the Oklahoma Association of Conservation Districts (OACD), serving from 2007 until 2014 where she developed nationally recognized programs promoting agriculture and conservation practices as means to mitigate and harden the system to rapidly increasing threats of climate change. With an Oklahoma state statute delegating statutory authority to a state agency to verify carbon sequestration on agriculture, forestry, and geologic formations that was nearly 7 years on the books, a group of of 7 individuals build the first "State Approved carbon credit verification system" in the US. This program still has almost 50,000 acres under contract as of 2015. In addition to increasing the organization's annual budget from just over $100,000 to an organization that was bringing in more than $410,000 per year, supporting a staff 5 times larger than at her hiring.

Prior to finding her passion in natural resource conservation, Sarah worked as a legislative assistant, a campaign operations director for a state senate campaign, a field director for a U.S. Senate campaign and advance work for President Obama before choosing the wide open spaces of western Oklahoma over political life. Before the "big city" girl jumped headlong into farm life, she served as the President of the SustainableOKC but now carries those ideals into her work with her local Oklahoma Farm Bureau chapter. On the weekends, she enjoys being active in two local churches, thanks to her ability to play the piano, and more than anything loves spending time with her husband and their 4 children, 2 dogs, 2 horses, and extended family on the farm in Loyal, OK while returning to Oklahoma City on a weekly basis.
