I’d like to start by introducing myself; my name is Nuwar Al Husseini, I’m a holder of bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Jordan (2004), and a master degree of Business Administration major in Management from New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) (2007), and have recently earned a master degree in “Environmental Technology and Management” at Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) (2013), Master thesis subject is “A study on The Guidelines Status and the Prevalence of Genetically Modified Products in Jordan”. At the beginning of my career (2004) and for a period of six years, I had the chance to work at the environmental research center at a highly respectable institution which is known today as El Hassan Science City/ the Royal Scientific Society (RSS), this has given me the ability to learn and gain expertise in several fields as water and wastewater laboratory testing & analysis, air quality monitoring Environmental impact assessment, in depth- in plant assessments. I have been also exposed to the expertise of different international consultants at various areas such as: Life Cycle assessment, Risk assessment and Clean Development Mechanism (CDM). Later on (2011) I have had the opportunity to work with a “Grade A” Accredited Environmental Consulting Firm called “Sustainable Environmental and Energy Solutions (SEES) “ specializing in environmental, water, waste water and energy assessments, I was privileged as well to work with team of experts on two strategic very important reports which are “Jordan’s Self-Assessment Report” and a project document For the Preparation of the Third National Communication Project Proposal to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change”. This project aims at assisting Jordan with the enabling activities necessary to undertake the Third National Greenhouse Gas Inventory It also help to strengthen Jordan’s capacity to fulfill its commitments to the UNFCCC on a continuing basis.
