I completed a Ph.D. in atmospheric sciences before entering a family textile manufacturing business (due to a death in the family). Ten years ago we sold the firm and I have devoted my time since then to becoming active in climate change and renewable energy. I am the co-Leader of the Manhattan Chapter of the Citizens Climate Lobby, a grassroots organization working with Congress to enact a revenue neutral fee on carbon based fuels that will transition our energy economy to a low emissions future.
