I have worked in the fields of Energy, Environment and Sustainability since 1999 assisting organizations in Asia, Europe and Africa with developing and implementing climate change strategies, targets and managing cross-functional projects. My approach is highly business-driven, with an aim to make sustainability a competitive advantage instead of a mere question of compliance.

Academically, I hold an M.Sc in Renewable Energy and an MBA specializing in cross-cultural business. I have practical experience as a Marketing Manager, Project Manager and Technical Consultant with:

• Low-carbon Technologies (renewables, energy efficiency, green buildings etc.)
• Climate change frameworks (UN Global Compact, Millennium Development, UNFCCC etc.)
• Sustainability standards and tools (Carbon footprint – ISO 14064, LEED rating etc.)
• Capacity development, Stakeholder consultation and development of Knowledge Products
• Developing and implementing systems for Monitoring, Reporting, Verification and QA/QC
• New “green business" creation - Marketing and Strategy development.

My passion is to combine sustainability and business development by integrating sustainability management into business strategy. I am excited about working in a cross functional and global environment creating synergies between traditional corporate functions such as Corporate Strategy and Corporate Sustainability and core business development functions to support the growth of an innovative and sustainable business environment.

Combining sustainability, business development and organizational capacity building has been central in my career. My current involvement with on-going climate frameworks is a great supplement, where I can make use of my strengths in building relationships, bridging people and professional disciplines.
