I have been working as a development practioner for nine years, working across sectors and integrating practices from various disciplines. I have a Bachelors in Civil Engineering and a Masters in Climate and Society - with a focus on water resources, disasters and climate. My work experience has been in Pakistan, Ethiopia, Kenya and Somalia with institutions including the Aga Khan Foundation, Winrock International, World Bank, UNDP, Save the Children and the Sustainable Development Policy Institute.

I am currently working as the Regional Manager for myclimate, a Swiss based organization committed to promoting low carbon development and sustainable development. I am also currently engaged as a Consultant with the UNDP in Somalia as a Climate Change Analyst to design a national climate change adaptation program.
