Member Profile
I’ve returned to research at Cornell University as a PhD student in Communication, focusing on behavioral energy conservation research from a communication perspective. Using social network, norm and role approaches, I am primarily interested in why people don’t change their behavior in business settings. Understanding who is likely to not undertake change efforts, as well as influences on such decisions can allow more targeted, effective conservation efforts. I have a Masters in Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo (Canada). Before that I worked for the Canadian government in a variety of roles, including speech-writing, social marketing and program evaluation.
