I am a degreed 80 y/o retired mechanical engineer with 36 years experience in the pharmaceutical, aerospace, automotive and nuclear industries. I have been studying energy, environment and fuels for 20 years and am convinced that we must stop burning fossil fuels asap. Unfortunately we will not be able to stop the use of oil and gas. A recent MIT paper concludes that direct capture of CO2 from the air is possible, but using fossil fuels would increase global warming. The only other non CO2 producing energy source is nuclear. Fracking wells are a good place to sequester CO2. www.Skyscrubber.com shows one way.
