Please add links and brief info about other climate and sustainability contests here. For some other contests it may help CoLab members to prepare their entries here, gather comments and make improvements, before submitting elsewhere. Similarly, members are welcome to copy their entries made elsewhere and add as a proposal in the Climate CoLab. (Check contest rules in case other sites require unpublished work only). Thanks!

http://thecleanrevolution.org/news-and-events/news/earthhack-crowdsourcing-the-solution-to-climate-change EarthHack is a new competition that was just co-launched by The Climate Group, IKEA and Philips. The prize is US$25,000 and asks competitors to reimagine existing technology for a more sustainable home. Submitted ideas can explore potential solutions for a myriad of different types of homes: from basic dwellings to large apartment blocks, but all entries must reimagine latent technology to create or conserve energy.
