Hi, I just found this forum and would like to share this information with you. We are a Nicaraguan-based social business, leaders in the construction of affordable eco-housing solutions in Nicaragua and Haiti. After three years of successful experience in the field of Post Disaster Reconstruction, we are seeking our entry in the field of Climate Adaptation through the development of affordable bamboo-made amphibious houses for vulnerable communities living in flood prone areas. We have launched a fundraising campaign for the construction of our first proof-of-concept amphibious house in Malacatoya, a Nicaraguan community seriously affected by floods every year: http://www.indiegogo.com/CO2Bambu Please do not hesitate to share this information with everyone that would be interested in contributing with this initiative and feel free to contact me if you have any further questions. For more information, please visit: www.climateadaptationnow.org and www.inclusivebamboovaluechain.com On behalf of CO2 Bambu and the Malacatoya community, we would be infinitely grateful if we could count on your support ande we are looking forward to hearing from you soon. Best regards, Bibiana Jurado Business Development-Global Fundraising CO2 Bambu, Granada-Nicaragua bibiana@co2bambu.com Phone: (505) 85108895 Skype: bibiana.jurado

Thanks for this great info Bibiana. The Climate CoLab is planning future climate adaptation contests well suited to your plans. You'd then be very welcome to add a proposal. This would help you to build a team of collaborators and supporters from around the world. You could get helpful feedback from others, including expert judges. New contests are announced in email newsletters to all CoLab community members (you joined when you registered for the site) and on twitter. James
