Farmer-run seedling nurseries to meet Atlantic Forest restoration goals by YggBrasil

A brilliant idea to help restore the Atlantic Rainforest, to assure biodiversity conservation, and to help struggling small farmers in São Paulo State.  As Ms. Ball notes, the project serves farmers rather than farmers serving the project.  In comparison with the modest expenditures required to realize the project, the benefits are huge and long-lived.  In addition to the rehabilitation of the ecosystem, the project will assure the welfare not only of a current generation of farmers but also of many generations of farmers to come.  It it my hope that this worthwhile project receives the full support of each and every organization approached for funding.
