This is interesting.

Can you build rest of the sections of the proposal.

Thank you for your interest, Vishal. I am working on the other sections and hope to have them in place within a couple of weeks. I could have been even quicker, but I have another proposal in preparation in the Adaptation contest!

I notice that you come from India, which I think is a place that could well benefit from this structure. My wife and her family spent several years in India during WWII (she was actually born in Burma) and I worked with a lot of people with Indian origins when working in Kenya, We still have quite a few contacts with people we met and I do have some idea about social and economic matters in India. The structure was extraordinarily inexpensive to build, mainly because of the repetitive nature of the design and the pre-prepared formwork and reinforcement. One would imagine that if they were built in some of the slums, providing housing for the inhabitants below and some worthwhile business activity above, it could make some difference to their lives.

Hi, Vishal,

My proposal is now nominally complete, though I may make the odd change before the closure date (only 8 days to go - omygosh!). If you have any helpful comments, please get them to me absolutely ASAP!

Regards,

JIm W.
